With a length of 4.39 m, the new C3 Aircross has new proportions and a change of attitude. It is not yet available on the Moroccan market. Nevertheless, the changes made to this compact SUV deserve to be looked at.

Its new design makes it more assertive, more muscular and more robust, with a more vertical style and sharper angles. The design of the front end incorporates the new logo adopted in particular by the C3 saloon. The design of the headlights is part of the new three-point light signature, and the high, horizontal engine hood and the vertical lines of the front validate the SUV concept of the new C3 Aircross.

The profile and rear of the new C3 Aircross also highlight its SUV characteristics with a robust and balanced look. From the side, its height of 1.66 m and its straight roof promise generous interior space for all passengers. The ground clearance of more than 200 mm offers improved protection and facilitates access on board, while providing a safer raised ride.

Like the front wing, the muscular rear wing reinforces its solid appearance. The wide tailgate, integrating the front with the black strip and the new logo, allows easy access to the trunk thanks to a low loading sill, while adding a touch of continuity to the vehicle’s uniform design.

A compact SUV ready to accommodate up to 7 people

This is THE big new feature of this new C3 Aircross, the introduction of a model with a 7-seater configuration, a first in this segment. With its large rear door and the easy tilting of the backrests of the row 2 bench seat, access is facilitated to the two additional seats, comfortable and retractable in the floor. These additional seats provide great flexibility of use and, when they are not deployed, the trunk offers a flat loading surface.

This 7-seater version offers in row 2 a knee length equivalent to that of the C3 sedan, an elbow width 25 mm greater than the category average and a generous roof clearance. The two occupants of the third row benefit from several conveniences, including headrests, side armrests, cup holders, USB port, foot cellar and air conditioning.

Inside, a large 10.25-inch touchscreen makes its appearance. Featuring a latest-generation infotainment system called the “Citroën Head-Up Display”, this screen is wirelessly compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

Several engines including a 100% electric option

Under the hood, the new C3 Aircross is available in electric, hybrid and petrol versions. It is the first B-segment SUV to have a 100% electric version. Equipped with an 83 kW/113 hp engine and a 44 kWh LFP battery, this version offers a range of over 300 km and performance suited to everyday driving. Fast charging allows you to go from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes, with a 100 kW DC charger. In 2025, a version with a range of over 400 km will be available, further strengthening the appeal of this electric option.

The hybrid version is equipped with a 136 horsepower engine combining a 1.2L turbocharged 100 kW/136 hp petrol engine with a 21 kW/28 hp electric motor, powered by a 48V lithium-ion battery. This hybridisation allows driving in electric mode up to 50% of the time in urban areas, thus reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions to just 124 g/km. The compact and efficient e-DCT automatic transmission ensures a smooth and comfortable drive. Suitable for families, this hybrid powertrain is easy to use, requiring no external charging, and is available in 5 and 7-seater versions. A traditional 100 hp petrol version will also be available to complete the range.

Regarding prices, the C3 Aircross offers its 100% electric version from 27,400 euros, and gives access to electrification from 25,500 euros with the hybrid version 136. In traditional gasoline, it is available from 19,400 euros. The availability of this new model in Morocco has not yet been announced.
