The Christmas bonus paid by CAF, MSA and France Travail should fall in mid-December. Can go up to 370 euros for a single parent, only a few people are eligible. But when will it appear on the dedicated space for those concerned?
A welcome boost before the holidays. The Minister of Solidarity announced that the Christmas bonus paid by CAF, MSA and France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi), will be paid on December 17, 2024.
A little over two million French people receiving RSA, ASS (specific solidarity allowance), AER (retirement equivalent allowance), or even RFPE (Pôle emploi training remuneration) are affected by this prime.
“The payment of the Christmas bonus will only be visible on your CAF account a few days before payment, or even the day before December 17, 2024,” clarified CAF.
This year, the amounts are 152.45 euros for a single person, 274.41 euros for a couple with a dependent child, 308.72 euros for single-parent families, 320.15 euros for two dependent children and 370, 45 euros for a single parent.
Who is eligible for this bonus?
To receive this bonus, you must be in the process of receiving compensation in November or December 2024. If you receive the RSA for the first time in December, the Christmas bonus is paid in January.
To perceive it, there is no action to take. Normally, the Christmas bonus is paid automatically by the CAF or the MSA depending on the situation of the eligible person. However, it is recommended to check that personal information (address, family situation, bank account) is updated.
