This year, the average budget that the French will devote to Christmas is decreasing. This is what emerges from a survey carried out by the CSA institute for Cofidis. Households have therefore planned to spend 497 euros, or 52 euros less than in 2023. The time has come to save money even if inflation has slowed down in 2024.
60 Million consumers are interested in Crémant
In these times of declining purchasing power, many will favor cheaper products to put on the table. This is why the sparkling wines
should once again be popular against the sacrosanct champagne. Moreover, in 2023, sales of crémant have increased by 5.7% in volume while at the same time, the star drink plunged by 16.5% according to the analysis institute Circana.

euros. Described as “elegant, pleasant,
harmonious“, le jury ccomposed of 10 people particularly highlighted the quality of this sparkling wine.
“Well balanced. Gray gold color, pink highlights. Fine nose (dried fruits, stewed apples and peach, thyme, rose, violet, citrus fruits). Fresh attack, well-balanced palate, flavors of citrus fruits, stewed fruits, correct length. To accompany smoked salmon, or the aperitif.”,
notes the specialists. And the icing on the cake, it is far from being the most expensive since the second bottle in this ranking is sold for 11.75 euros.
Crémant doesn’t only come from Alsace
