While it is offered today at 86.40 euros, the Navigo Pass should increase next year by 2.8% and reach 88.80 euros monthly, CNEWS learned from Île-de-France Mobilités. The increase is subject to a vote by the IDF Mobilités board of directors next December.
An increasing price. In 2025, Île-de-France Mobilités should continue to increase the Navigo Pass. The mobility organizing authority for the Paris region has in fact confirmed to CNEWS that the price of the Navigo should increase by a few euros, reaching the sum of 88.80 euros, instead of 86.40 euros today.
Île-de-France Mobilités believes that this increase is part of the IDFM financing agreement, in September 2023, signed with the State. This specifies that “the maximum user contribution has been set until 2031 at inflation +1%, thanks to the increase in the contribution of companies with the Mobility Payment, the increase in community contributions at inflation +2 %, of which the Region pays 51%”, or 800 million euros.
Thus, and while 2025 inflation is forecast at 1.8%, the transport organizing authority in Île-de-France, chaired by Valérie Pécresse, has decided to “propose an increase in prices to 2.8%” . The monthly Navigo Pass will therefore cost 88.80 euros.
As a result, this new price list will be submitted “to the vote of the board of directors of Île-de-France Mobilités on December 11”.
