The X40 Ultra Complete is undoubtedly one of the best robots of 2024. Comfortable in cluttered environments, it offers excellent suction performance and does well in washing mode, with a special care taken in the corners. Dreame also relieves the user of most maintenance tasks, but washing the mops could still be improved and the station is a little bulky and messy.

Effective washing function.

Currently in the lab, the Dreame L40 Ultra has seen its price drop to €899 at several e-retailers for Black Friday. Usually sold at €1,100, this robot vacuum cleaner is halfway between the Dreame L20 Ultra and the X40 Ultra Complete , incorporates all the latest technologies dear to its manufacturer. The Dreame L40 Ultra does not only rely on its base (which automatically empties the dust collector, which wets, which washes and dries the skates) to seduce. It also uses MopExtend technology which allows its mop to move to the side to clean along the baseboards, it also benefits from a side brush to unearth dust embedded against the walls.
Like the L20 Ultra and X40 Ultra Complete before it, the Dreame L40 Ultra is equipped with a camera which also allows it to avoid obstacles to explore every nook and cranny of the house. Capable of vacuuming all surfaces efficiently and in a short time, it can also tackle stubborn stains with its rotating mops. The full review of the Dreame L40 Ultra will be online on November 26 but we can already tell you that it will be one of the best models in our comparison and at this price, it is all the more interesting.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ robot vacuum cleaner is priced at €369.99 at Amazon. And at this price, we are entitled to a robot that could not be more efficient. Equal to more high-end models in suction and having little to envy of them in terms of washing, it has no trouble going through the entire house as long as the floors are clear.
This is its flaw: it struggles to detect trailing cables and it is necessary to indicate the carpets on the map. It is not the most intelligent robot and therefore requires a little more preparation than other devices to do its job correctly, although this is nothing insurmountable.
Points forts
-
Very efficient suction.
-
Liftable mops.
-
Very complete resort.
-
Methodical navigation.
-
Overall effective obstacle detection.
-
Comfortable autonomy.
Weak points
-
No automatic carpet detection.
-
Cables to store.
-
Imposing station.
-
Washing function not very effective.

Even if the Ecovacs T30S Pro Omni loses its stick vacuum cleaner, it is still a robot vacuum cleaner as efficient as the T30S Combo Complete. Equipped with one more camera than the Complete, the T30S Pro is also equipped with a more generous battery to cover larger areas. The Ecovacs Deebot T30S Pro Omni robot vacuum cleaner is listed today at €672.66 at Amazon.
For the rest, he can count on infallible equipment, in particular on his deportable mop which washes as close as possible to the walls. The robot also benefits from a very good navigation system, unfortunately weighed down by the too vigorous side brush. The waste then finds itself out of reach of the robot, which also tends to release dust that has already been swallowed on its way back.
Points forts
-
Mop that moves sideways to wash along the walls.
-
Stick vacuum cleaner delivered in the Combo Complete version.
-
Intuitive mobile app with lots of possibilities.
-
Very good navigation system.
-
Good surface coverage.
Weak points
-
Messy docking station.
-
Side brush that ejects debris out of reach of the robot.
-
On its return journey, the robot releases dust that has already been swallowed.

The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat robot vacuum cleaner drops below €630 at Amazon. The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat takes the design of the L10s Ultra with some improvements from the L20 Ultra, while introducing hot water mop washing in the station.
It offers excellent washing performance and recovers the agility of the L20 Ultra to wash along walls. Not only does its station automatically drain the collector, but it also allows the skates to be washed in hot water, which is even more hygienic.
Points forts
-
Base further improved.
-
Good suction performance.
-
Perfect navigation.
-
Improved washing along walls.
-
Good obstacle management.
-
Fast charging.
Weak points
-
Side brush that ejects debris.
-
Disappointing washing performance.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).
