In a press release published on June 26, the Competition Council announced that it had authorized this operation.

LasoBio company will acquire 51% of the capital of the companies NGPH and MyHerbliz, the remainder of the capital of these companies remaining held by its historic shareholder, New Garden Pharma Limited.

NGPH and MyHerbliz are German companies specializing in the sale and distribution of CBD-based products (oils, cosmetics, vaporizers and food supplements) abroad through the Herbliz brand.

LasoBio is a Moroccan company specializing in the production of food supplements and cosmetic products. It plans to expand its activity to the production and marketing of CBD-based products. It is a subsidiary of Promamec, Moroccan specialist in healthcare and medical devices.

Last February, Laso Bio joined forces with the Italian biotechnology company Herbolea Biotech, which specializes in licensing exclusive technologies for botanical extraction. Following this agreement, LasoBio obtained rights to use extraction and purification technologies de chanvre d’Herbolea au Maroc.

This collaboration leverages Herbolea’s advanced technologies (namely Bio-Herbolysis, Hydrocan and Distillac) to ensure the production of high-quality extracts for both local and international markets.

To support LasoBio’s operations, Herbolea has agreed to deliver equipment with a processing capacity of more than 400,000 kilograms of biomass fresh per year, to allow the Moroccan company to carry out its extraction operations in an efficient and sustainable manner.
