When a garage is located near natural areas, the risk of finding a surprise guest within its walls increases significantly. The unusual story of this Swedish workshop specializing in BMWs shows exactly this phenomenon immortalized on video by the owner of the place Viktor Örtegren.
One fine day, the manager goes to his shop building to store his boat for the winter. Problem: strange noises are heard in the room dedicated to vehicle storage. At first glance, Viktor thinks a customer has stopped to visit him. It turns out to be a very different guest: to his surprise, he finds a panicked moose stamping its hooves on the nose of a freshly restored BMW 850i.

The Weirdest Moose Test Ever Filmed
All’s well that ends well. The moose finds a way out, leaves the workshop, crosses the road and plunges into the forest. Faced with the absurdity of the situation, Viktor Örtegren takes this with humor by publishing a video on YouTube talking about an “unforeseen and very special momentum test”.
The 8 Series, a Germanic icon
As a reminder, the Bmw 850i has under its hood a masterful 5.0l V12 with 300 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. A mechanism associated with an automatic transmission or more rarely with a manual gearbox. With its grand touring vocation, its futuristic coupe lines and its retractable lights, the 8 Series E31 generation holds a special place in the hearts of BMW youngtimer enthusiasts.
