DECRYPTION – A recent international study reveals that 80% of fleet managers plan to electrify a quarter of their fleet by 2030. France is in the lead, with higher forecasts.
The specialist in payment solutions for corporate fleets Wex and the consulting firm Frost & Sullivan published a study last September on the transition to the electrification of corporate vehicle fleets. The survey was carried out in eight countries, among more than 500 fleet managers, including 65 in France.
Despite the challenges associated with the transition to electric, she emphasizes that a large majority of companies anticipate a significant greening of their fleet in the years to come. 80% of respondents estimate that at least 25% of their fleet will be made up of electric vehicles by 2030. This figure rises to 42% for companies that have already started the transition process.
