Colas Foundation supports two international partners, Enfants du Mékong and IECD

Already a partner of the Rêv’Elles association and the Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil, Colas Foundation is expanding its support in the field of social and professional integration of young people by supporting two partners on an international scale, the Enfants du Mekong and the IECD (European Institute for Cooperation and Development) for one year.

Support for the “Enfants du Mekong” association, for the integration of young people from ethnic minorities in Southeast Asia

Enfants du Mékong, a French sponsorship association, has worked since 1958 to educate the most disadvantaged children in South-East Asia. Its action is based on four essential pillars: access to education through school sponsorship, guidance, through specialized seminars, training, to enable young people to access university, and integration, by supporting them in their first job search.

In this spirit, Colas Foundation is committed to supporting integration programs in three countries: Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand. In total, 5,083 young people will be supported, including 4,350 students in Vietnam, 663 in the Philippines and 70 in Thailand.

As part of this partnership, Colas employees will get involved in sponsorship activities and participate in orientation and professional integration forums organized by the association in the three countries concerned. They will share their experience in order to help high school students identify their own talents, support them in their preparation for job interviews and offer them the opportunity to visit their offices or construction sites.

By making a financial contribution of 100,000 euros, Colas Foundation will help encourage young people to become responsible and independent adults.
