Allianz Global Investors strengthens its relationship team with Global Banks. Since October 2024, Marc Schumacher has been responsible for the relationship with Global Banks in Switzerland.
Marc Schumacher previously worked at PIMCO (Switzerland), where he was responsible for the relationship with global banks, including international banks, cantonal banks, regional banks and Raiffeisen for German-speaking Switzerland for 4 years.
Before joining PIMCO, Mr. Schumacher was Sales Director for Switzerland, including French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino, at AllianceBernstein. Previously, he was sales director at JP Morgan Asset Management (Switzerland) SA, where he was responsible for cantonal banks, regional banks and Raiffeisen. Marc Schumacher holds a master’s degree (MSc.) in earth sciences from the University of Bern and a doctorate (Dr. sc. Nat.) in environmental chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ). ). He also holds the CIIA charter.
