Do you know the startup KAPPTIVATE which detects bugs in your apps and websites?

Founded by Julien Sabatier and Alexandre Grais in Bordeaux, KAPPTIVATE (https://www.kapptivate.com) designs and develops no-code SaaS solutions to facilitate automatic testing and 24-hour monitoring of digital services.

KAPPTIVATE uses intelligent robots capable of detecting all types of bugs across all customer journeys in real time, from the customer’s point of view, and without using user data. These robots can take videos of incidents and facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams. The start-up has a fleet of robots around the world, making it possible to simulate real service conditions in any country. Kapptivate embodies “privacy by design” since the solution is fully GDPR compliant.

KAPPTIVATE is used by dozens of telecom operators, banks and insurance companies, all leaders in their markets, in more than twenty countries.

Since its creation in 2016, Kapptivate has already performed billions of tests and detected millions of bugs, allowing its customers to significantly improve the user experience.

The startup, which initially developed on its own funds, has decided to exit its bootstrap phase and carry out a first round of financing in 2023.

Elevation Capital Partners, GSO Innovation and Holnest were convinced of the solidity of the entrepreneurs and the project, in which they decided to invest 3 million euros.

This funding will allow KAPPTIVATE to accelerate its development plan against a backdrop of profitable growth. After conquering banks and telecom operators in Africa, Kapptivate is now targeting the European market with a strategy focused on large B2C companies with global digital services.
