“WORLDEF Istanbul 2024” e-commerce fair, organized by global e-commerce platform WORLDEF, will bring together important names from Türkiye and the global retail ecosystem.

According to the WORLDEF statement, the countdown has started for WORLDEF Istanbul 2024, of which Anadolu Agency (AA) is the global communication partner.

The event will host renowned personalities from Türkiye and the global e-commerce ecosystem. The fair, which will be held on June 6-7-8 at Istanbul Yenikapı Event Area, is expected to attract more than 20 thousand visitors from 40 countries.

WORLDEF President Ömer Nart said that “WORLDEF Istanbul 2024” provides an opportunity for Turkish manufacturers and retail brands to open up to global markets.

A unique program at the e-commerce fair focusing on retail technologies in e-commerce has been carefully prepared.

The companies, service providers, manufacturers and suppliers who will participate in the event have been classified into thematic pavilions in which a limited number of partners from each category will be present. “Thus, we foresee a concept of minimum competition and maximum cooperation,” explained Nart.

– The manufacturers’ stands will be very busy

Ömer Nart assures that visitors will encounter many firsts at WORLDEF Istanbul.

“For the first time, we are opening an “e-commerce oriented manufacturers pavilion”. This pavilion will include booths of qualified manufacturers. In these booths, we will bring together e-commerce oriented manufacturers of all categories with major sellers of global markets will be strong, especially at manufacturers’ stands,” he shared.

The Istanbul Global E-Commerce Fair will be the biggest event of the year in this field, according to Nart.

“We provide an opportunity to present e-commerce focused products and services to a wide audience. There are advantages that Turkish brands cannot always find, such as networking with global markets and the possibility to meet potential customers. Anyone who crosses the path of e-commerce can participate in important cooperations. In addition, Turkish manufacturers and suppliers will be able to reach other markets than the shrinking domestic market.

– More than 20,000 visitors from 40 countries are expected

WORLDEF Istanbul is expected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors from 40 countries. During this event, more than 200 speakers will share their experiences on three stages simultaneously.

More than 450 retail brands, manufacturers and suppliers will have the opportunity to exhibit their e-commerce focused products and services in the stands that will be set up across 9,000,200 square meters. Service providers, investors and entrepreneurs in the e-commerce sector will also participate in the e-commerce show, which will be attended by more than 1,500 sellers from global marketplaces such as Amazon and Etsy.

WORLDEF Istanbul, which positions itself as one of the largest e-commerce fairs in the world, will bring together e-commerce professionals.

The event, which will provide new opportunities to take part in the dynamic world of e-commerce, learn about tomorrow’s e-commerce trends, experience innovations in the ecosystem and discover the strategies that are shaping the future of e-commerce, will deliver unique experiences to brands that want to be part of this transformation as e-commerce transforms.

The event will address digital transformation, consumer-focused strategies, sales in global markets, e-commerce and sustainability, as well as the new opportunities offered by Istanbul, a global e-commerce hub.

At this event, speakers will share their experiences on strategies for managing the complex e-commerce environment, visitors will be able to learn about the latest technologies, consumer behavior changes and ecosystem development. WORLDEF Istanbul 2024 will also offer surprise programs.
