It was an announcement awaited by travelers. Because of their proximity to the SeineSNCF reservations in these three Paris stations could not be opened for July 26, while the Paris police headquarters completed its plan to secure the opening ceremony.

A few more restrictions

It is now done. Since this Saturday, May 18, 2024, tourists who wish to leave from or arrive at Lyon, Bercy and Austerlitz stations can finally get their tickets. But be careful, restrictions still apply.

It will not be possible to leave the capital after 4 p.m., indicates the SNCF at Figaro. “After 4 p.m., no trains (TGV Inoui, Ouigo and Intercités) will be offered for sale » from these three stations. Good news, however, for the lucky ones who will attend the opening ceremony: in the direction of arrivals, trains will run all day.

For TER Paris-province, “places on board are limited”, specifies the company to our colleagues. She therefore invites “customers to anticipate their reservations and travel times”. Finally, the night train departing from Paris-Austerlitz on the evening of July 26 has been canceled.
