HASAfter years of good and loyal service, the tracks on Avenue de Tervuren must be replaced, indicates the Stib in a press release. The lanes between Boulevard de la Woluwe and Boulevard du Souverain are replaced from Saturday 1er June to Friday August 30, causing the interruption of trams 8, 39 and 44.

The overall work will last until mid-2025. “This replacement is essential to avoid accidents, derailments and guarantee the safety of users, drivers and operations. »

From Saturday 1er September, it will be the turn of the part between the Auderghem-Forêt and Quatre-Bras stops. Trams 44 remain interrupted, trams 8 and 39 are running normally.

Tram 8

The trams are replaced by T-bus 39 between Musée du Tram and Herrmann-Debroux.

Until Friday July 5, trams coming from Roodebeek end at the usual Musée du Tram stop towards Louise. From Saturday July 6, the trams end at a temporary stop located on Boulevard de la Woluwe.

After Tram Museum, the T-buses continue towards Ban-Eik. T-buses run on their entire route under number 39.

Trams 39 and 44

39 trams are replaced by T-buses between Tram Museum and Ban-Eik, 44 trams are replaced by T-buses between Tram Museum and Tervuren Station.

T-buses 39 run between Ban-Eik and Herrmann-Debroux, replacing trams 39 between Ban-Eik and Musée du Tram, and trams 8 between Musée du Tram and Herrmann-Debroux

T-bus 44 runs between Montgomery and Tervuren Station. They do not serve the GJ Martin, Léopold II, Jules César and Chien Vert stops, which remain served by trams. The Drève des Brûlés and Tir aux Pigeons stops are also not served.

The Villalobar and Madoux stops are only served by T-bus 44.

T-bus 39

T-bus 39 runs between Ban-Eik and Herrmann-Debroux.

The connection with trams 39 towards Montgomery and with trams 8 towards Roodebeek is at the Musée du Tram stop.
