Oracle, the American software giant, is preparing to open its Research & Development center in Morocco, its first of its kind in Africa.

The Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and administrative reform, Ghita Mezzour, will proceed in the coming days in San Francisco in the United States to the signing of an agreement with Oracle Corporation for the launch of a Research & Development in Morocco, informs Challenge.

Oracle’s R&D center will employ more than 1,000 Moroccan engineers and doctoral researchers who will be dedicated to the design and development of innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence or the cloud, areas of reference for the American giant.
