The British company Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc operating in Morocco has announced the appointment of Dr Stephen Boldy as non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

Boldy will chair the four-member board, including an executive director and three non-executive directors, the Jersey-based company said in a statement. The new non-executive chairman currently serves as CEO of Lansdowne Oil & Gas. This petroleum geologist with over 40 years of experience worked for the Petroleum Affairs Division of the Department of Energy in Dublin (1980-1984), then spent almost 19 years at Amerada Hess Corporation, where he was in the Kingdom -United. He served as Director of Exploration, Director of Exploration in Norway and Director of International Exploration.

In March 2003, he joined Ramco Energy as vice-president of Ireland and led the IPO of Lansdowne Oil and Gas in 2006. Boldy previously headed the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain.
