Technature is expanding. The cosmetics producer based in Dirinon (Finistère) announced in a press release, Wednesday September 25, an investment of 11 million euros for the creation of a third production unit in . This new project, whose construction site will be launched in January 2025 and whose commissioning is planned for the fall of 2025, comes as Technature inaugurated its redeveloped Dirinon site a year ago, after an investment of 9 million euros (including 3 million in the renewal of machines).

A former logistics site redeveloped

The company that designs cosmetics for national and international brands plans to rehabilitate a former logistics site of 5,000 m², which will be added to the 13,500 m² of the two current sites. It will notably be devoted to the production of a new range of beauty masks – its specialty.

A research and development laboratory, an essential axis of development for the company headed by Pierre Morvan, to which 16% of its workforce is dedicated, will also be created there. The two other production units, located in Relecq-Kerhuon and Dirinon, are dedicated to the production of cosmetic creams and powders.

With this third production unit, Technature hopes to double its production capacity in three years, “to meet rapidly growing global demand”. The company’s turnover, of 23.5 million euros in 2024 (end of the financial year in August) compared to 21.9 million euros in 2023, already depends 50% on external sales. The commissioning of the new factory will be accompanied by the creation of between 60 and 80 jobs. Substantial growth for the company which currently has 175 employees.
