Descriptive text here

The for Economic Development (BNDE) is honored to be one of the first banking establishments in the sub-region to mobilize a financing line from the South African Development Bank (DBSA).

This South-South financial partnership, amounting to 70 million euros, or 46 billion CFA francs, is a Source of satisfaction, because it should allow the BNDE to strengthen its fundamental mission of financing the Senegalese economy, particularly structuring projects.

Thus, this mobilized resource, from a first-rate financial partner, will strengthen the financing of its historic clientele, SMEs/SMIs, but also and above all the consolidation of its quality as a development bank.

It is therefore on the strength of the solidity of the financial and prudential indicators of the BNDE that the DBSA granted it this financing line over a period of seven (07) years, at a competitive rate given the current rate conditions under the plan. international.

This support comes at the right time, after that of shareholders, notably the State of which increased the capital of BNDE from 11 to 52 billion CFA francs, an unprecedented increase of 41 billion. A decision which responds to the current context of increasing the minimum share capital of banks from 10 to 20 billion CFA francs.

In short, BNDE intends to consolidate its assets and engage in a growth dynamic.

This constant commitment from top management and all staff is relentless. Added to this is consideration of current concerns, in particular compliance with requirements in terms of Social and Environmental Risks (CSR).

On this same momentum, this national bank, which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary, is in a good dynamic of adhering to the Equator Principles (EP) and obtaining its accreditation to the green climate fund.

BNDE thanks all of its customers and partners and reassures them, despite strong speculation in the banking sector.
