Automotive. Vintage and sports cars are on display in Nogent-le-Rotrou

Renault 8 Gordini, Matra murena, Peugeot 402… Like every year, the Ecurie Perche Retro Auto Sport (Epras) organizes a gathering of old and sports vehicles, this Sunday April 28, 2024on the Place du 11-Août, in Nogent-le-Rotrou (Eure-et-Loir).

“Vehicles having at least thirty years, presents Jacky Duhec, the president of Epras. But we also accept more recent vehicles if they are exceptional.”

Around fifty vehicles expected in Nogent-le-Rotrou

Between forty and fifty vehicles from Nogent-le-Rotrou, La Loupe, La Ferté-Bernard and neighboring departments will be installed on the Place du 11-August, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..

Cars, motorcycles, quads, vans… “We accept everyone, and not just members of the association,” says the president who has seen his numbers double since 2018, notably thanks to the launch of Bouchon nogentais.

On site, the association will install a barnum in order to present Epras to non-members “and offer coffee. We will also sell club goodies, t-shirts, polo shirts, stickers…”

A 60 km outing in the afternoon

However, no refreshment bar or food stand for exhibitors and visitors. “We give everyone the choice to eat where they want,” explains Jacky.

People really like to meet, discuss and discuss their vehicles, but above all, they love to ride. Especially since there are no registration fees, it is a free event.

In the afternoon, the meeting is set for 2 p.m., on the Place du 11-Août for a stroll through the Perche.

Around sixty kilometers including Sablons-sur-Huisne and Bretoncelles.
