LYoung people are buying less and less wine (and alcohol in general) for home consumption in stores. While the various brands are currently organizing their traditional wine fairs, the figures that the GFK research office shared with Evening are unequivocal. Among those under 30, purchases of alcoholic beverages have decreased (in volume) by 38.7% compared to 2019. A marked decrease in both wines (-29.7%) and beers (-37.5%). In the 30-39 age category, wine sales are down by -13.4% and beer sales by 27.3% compared to 2019.
