Panzani brand macaroni are being recalled due to the presence of potential foreign bodies, the government site RappelConso announced on Friday April 12.

Pasta marketed by the Panzani brand is the subject of a recall, the RappelConso site announced on Friday April 12. These are 500 gram packages of macaroni that cook quickly in 3 minutes.

The batches concerned were marketed between January 3, 2024 and March 7, 2024, throughout France. The following distributors are affected: Auchan, Système U, Intermarché, and Leclerc.

They are being recalled due to the potential presence of a foreign object “resembling a piece of clear plastic.”

If you have pasta of this kind, the RappelConso website advises not to eat it, “due to the risk of injury/adverse effects following ingestion of this product”.
