And he added: “The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and the unknown route. The cancer journey is complexscary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”

Last March, after several months of convalescence following abdominal surgery in January 2024, the mother announced that she was suffering from cancer but without revealing its nature. “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my goal.
