In which country is the Fiat Grande Panda sold in an ultra stripped version… at the same price as with us?

In this state which has nothing moreover of an emerging country, the Fiat Grande Panda just launched on the market marks, in a way, a return to basics! Indeed, its basic version, called Fiat Grande Pand Pop in micro-hybrid motorization of 100 hp, offers the minimum service there.
A large basic panda like the original 1980
Black plastic door handle and matching sheet metal rims without the slightest enjolive to cover them nevertheless have the merit of perfectly contrasting with the shade of red passione body, delivered as standard. Note that the fiat large basic electric panda is also fitted with steel rims, but that the latter are painted white.
But let’s go back to the Fiat Grande Panda thermal, whose grille is devoid of LED headlights, rather welcoming traditional halogen spotlights. Ditto at the rear, where, to be connected, the texture of the lights is simplified (see image above).
A dashboard next to the plate
The interior is of the same ilk, again, Fiat struck hard! The 10 -inch diagonal touch screen clearly shines by its absence. A piece of black plastic, on which, in a badly skillful way, was fixed a smartphone support with a USB-C socket, does its best to fill the void. One has the impression of leaping in the past, a return to the 1980s, when the manufacturers offered you a generous storage room in the welcoming accommodation, on the high-end versions, a car radio.
Certainly, Other city cars, such as the Renault Twingo, in its time, or the Dacia Sandero, do not offer a multimedia touch screen at the entry level, But they have the delicacy not to be offended in this way. Their more refined on -board plates are in fact better suited to this lack and pass the pill gently. In fact, the Fiat Grande Panda, which takes up the instrumentation of the Opel Mokka and Opel Frontera, was not really planned for a simple screen configuration. In this case, the 10 -inch slab in front of the driver acting as an instrumentation. The latter being common to all versions of the Fiat Grande Panda. In the same vein, the air conditioning is not automatic but manual, just like the rising or descending rear windows via cranks.
No dead end on security
However, this Fiat Grande Panda minimalist does not ignore security, it cannot escape GSR2 standards, compulsory driving aids are therefore well delivered on this entry -level. The rear parking radars, the automatic lighting of the headlights, the recognition of the traffic signs and the system of keeping the track are there.
But, where the rub is that this large basic pop panda fiat that is less equipped than the entry -level offered in France is billed exactly at the same price, namely € 18,900. A less indigent variant with a standard endowment comparable to that of basic in France is billed in this country € 20,400.
So, do you have a prognosis for this country? Let us stop here the suspense, it is Italy … The 22% VAT in the boot, instead of 20% in France, however partly explains this choice of Fiat.
