14 million retirees will receive two transfers this month, one on the 3rd and the other on February 7. Who is concerned and why will retirees benefit from two payments?
A transfer on February 3
Each beginning of the month, nearly 14 million retirees affiliated with the complementary scheme for Argic-Arrco, receive their additional pension. The beneficiaries are all former employees of the private sector with the retirement of the National Old Age Insurance Fund (CNAV), the basic pension fund.
In addition to the basic pension, they receive an additional pension, paid “The first working day of each month”. This year, February 1 fell on a Saturday, so the first working day corresponds to Monday, February 3, 2025, in accordance with the Agirc-Arrco calendar.
A second payment on 7
A second transfer, corresponding to the basic retirement paid by the CNAV, will be paid on Friday, February 7. Generally, this transfer is made every two months around 9. Unless this date falls during a weekend or a holiday.
In this case, the payment will take place “The 1st working day previous or following”, specifies retirement insurance on its site. So the transfer will be paid on Friday, February 7.
Retirees dependent on the Mutualité Social Agricole (MSA) will also receive their payment this same day.
