Movement actions: a rain of publications summarized here! – 02/04/2025

Infineon (+10%): the semiconductor manufacturer surprised with quarterly results above expectations (offbeat exercise). MEDACT (+9%): The manufacturer of orthopedic prostheses has recorded strong growth in all regions where it is present. Turnover amounts to € 590.6 million over the year, up 16.2% at constant exchange rates. Society is optimistic and plans to maintain this dynamic again this year.

Scor (+4%): The reinsurer experienced sustained growth in its reinsurance premiums which increased by 9.6% during the renewals of January. The company anticipates stable market conditions for the coming months.

BNP Paribas (+2%): The French bank has published results above expectations for the T4, supported by its financing and investment bank. BNP Paribas remains cautious about its profitability target for 2025.

Coloplast (+2%): Danish manufacturer’s figures of medical devices reflect a drop in profitability. Investors preferred to retain the increase in turnover. The company has revised down its organic growth forecasts for the year at 7%, against a previous estimate of 8 to 9%.

Publicis Group (+2%): The communication giant has published record results for 2024. Profits increased by 26.4%. It provides organic growth in its net income between 4% and 5% in 2025 and investing in artificial intelligence while pursuing targeted acquisitions.

Declining

Embracer Group (-44%): The video game company has made the split of its subsidiary ASMODEE.

Siltronic (-13%): The manufacturer of Wafers for semiconductors recognizes that demand is low in the flea sector, except for AI. The preliminary results of 2024 show a 7% drop in turnover. The title has been at the lowest in nine years.

UBS (-6%): The Swiss bank revealed a net profit above expectations for the 4th quarter of 2024, but warns of “increased uncertainty” for 2025 due to the economy and the geopolitical situation. At the same time, the dividend is increased and an action buyback program has been announced.

Vodafone (-6%): the telecom operator has had disappointing figures in Germany. The CEO indicated that the improvement would take time to materialize in the financial results.

Salvatore Ferragamo (-4%): Managing Director Marco Gobbetti leaves. For the Italian luxury house, 2024 will have been a difficult year, marked by a drop in sales, especially in Asia. The company is looking for a new CEO to continue its renewal.

Diageo (-1%): The spirits giant cuts its forecast in the medium term as you would expect due to the difficulties of the sector. Otherwise, the results of the first semester 2025 are rather correct.
