I’ve never been less concerned about battery life issues than since I upgraded to an iPhone 15 Plus. I always wanted a bigger iPhone, but spending almost $1,500 on a Pro Max was never an option. As a huge tech enthusiast, if not victim, I’ve long gravitated exclusively to the Pros — often because of a flagship feature that appealed to me for no real reason (e.g. Dynamic Island).

In recent months, the titanium of the iPhone 15 Pro could have been enough of a selling point for me. Except that I decided to be reasonable and get an iPhone 15 Plus, which is more affordable and comes with the famous Dynamic Island that I would never have given up (introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro). I don’t regret this choice: after more than six months of use, the battery is still in solid health (98%!) while its strong point – battery life – is a real strong point (unlike the Dynamic Island, which I could do without).
