Forty-two authors at the book fair

The L’Amitié Beauce, Perche et Thymerais association is organizing the fourth edition of its book fair, at the Salle Pannard in Courville-sur-Eure, this weekend.

An edition which benefits from the support of Courville partners including the municipality, the press house, Crédit Mutuel, the Eure de lire media library, the associative bouquinerie and the Gazette Beauce, Perche et Thymerais. Over the entire weekend, a total of forty-two authors are expected at the literary fair, with the presence of several publishers.

An exhibition on Courvillo’s literary heritage will be presented by Frédéric Hallouin, local historian and deputy mayor, and Philippe Collonge, in charge of the associative bookstore which will also offer books to all those who buy one.

Conferences

Two conferences are also on the agenda: Saturday, at 3 p.m. with Paul Fuks who will present “Picassiette, the plate garden”; and Sunday, at 3 p.m., with Alain Denizet who will introduce “The Honeymoon” by Courvillois Jenny and Henri Pelé, from May 30 to July 29, 1853, in a tour of with thirty-two urban stops in less than 80 days .

To close this weekend dedicated to literature, Léa Cerveau, slammer, accompanied by Julien Mathonnet on saxophone, will offer a concert where words will be the guests of honor, Sunday, at 5:30 p.m.

Schools. Friday, the day will be reserved for schools, with the poetry festival in which schools from Courville-sur-Eure and Chuisnes will participate. It will end with a show in which children and adults will participate, as well as the Eurelian artists of the Caravan of Poets Marie Poumarat and, on the accordion, Garance Duarte.
