Two “terrified” children
This happened on the night of Friday January 17 to Saturday January 18 around 3:30 a.m. at the victim's home in the area of Rosporden. The living room was upside down; there were also many traces of blood.
The victim's two children were present. “They heard an argument, insults and blows. They were terrified,” said Lucile Chaussadethe president of the court.
The youngest, 12 years old, went to get help from a neighbor. When the gendarmes arrived, the defendant attempted to take flight at the wheel of his car. He no longer had his license, tested positive for cannabis and had just over one gram of alcohol per liter of blood.
You stormed off, screeching your tires. You traveled 220 m at high speed before hitting a fence.
Nine days of total incapacity for work
The person concerned did not dispute it. Neither does the violence. “Madame had three stitches for her wound on her cheekbone, and several bruises. She had nine days of total incapacity for work,” said the president.
-The victim took the stand:
I will never forgive what he did to my children. They are demolished. But what he needs is not prison, but care. Before this violence, we had a coherent family life.
Their meeting dates back a few months. At the beginning of October 2024, an evening at a nightclub in Quimper had however degenerated. “You were already drunk. The bouncers had to intervene and outside, you hit Madame. She was found on the ground, unconscious,” recalled Lucile Chaussade. This episode is blurry in the young man's memory.
