Dedications by Thomas Morales under the sign of the province, at the Gien bookstore

Thomas Morales was born in Bourges in 1974. He completed all his schooling in Cher, then studied law in Orléans and studied journalism in Paris.

Today a writer, literary critic and columnist, he owns a house in Nièvre and divides his life between Paris and this famous province. Even though he has already lived in the capital for more than thirty years, he still defines himself as “a rural person, a country child”.

Tender is the provincehis latest work, celebrates the richness and poetry of rural territories. Published in October 2024, this book marks a new stage for the author, who began his book signing tour in Gien.

This choice reflects his attachment to his provincial roots and his way of life. According to him, the province is not just a place, but a state of mind. With this book tinged with nostalgia, he invites readers on a poetic stroll, an affectionate return to the world before.
