Comic strip: “The Blue Lotus” reveals new secrets

In “The Blue Lotus” appears Tchang Tchong-Jen. A book, (“Tchang Tchong-Jen traveler”) provides information on the biography and art of this very real character, friend of Hergé during their studies. The Chinese had helped the Belgian in this adventure in Shanghai. The album by Tintinologist Dominique Maricq and Tchang Yifei, the person’s daughter, shows Tchang’s artistic work, influenced by China and Europe, where he had to take refuge under Mao.
