D-3 before the Book Donation from the Association for the Social Integration of People with Down Syndrome – APIST – which will take place this Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January at the Espace François-Mitterrand.
Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors will be able to acquire as many books as they wish from the thousands available, in exchange for a free donation to the association.
If this 2025 edition retains a formula identical to the previous ones, it takes on a solidarity dimension by associating itself with the second act of the major food collection organized by the City of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, via the CCAS. At the entrance to the Don du Livre, it will be possible to leave non-perishable food items (pasta, rice, canned goods, coffee, etc.).
Finally, note that APIST is still looking for volunteers to help sort and set up the books, or transport a few boxes, from Wednesday January 15 to Sunday January 19. Whether for an hour or more, any help will be welcome. More information about this by email, via [email protected].
