The rankings released this week by BAnQ indicate that Rue Duplessis: my little darkness by Jean-Philippe Pleau ranks third among the novels in French on paper most borrowed by adults.
In the list, we also find Watch over her by Jean-Baptiste Andrea, What I know about you by Eric Chacour, Le mage du Kremlin de Giuliano Da Empoli also Quimmick by Michel Jean.
Regarding English Books on paper, Yellowface by Chinese-American author RF Kuang is at the top of the list, followed by Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.
In terms of children’s literature, three novels from JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series are among the most borrowed novels, as well as The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Once deadly, always deadly! by Mr. Tan and Diane Le Feyer, and the second volume of the popular Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.
