The writer Christine Campadieu received at the Ille-sur-Têt media library

Christine Campadieu came to sign her first book at home, at the JS Pons media library The Wizard and the Firefly, on the road and at the table with Jim Harrison (Nouriturfu editions). Christine Campadieu is first known in Ille for the creation of La Providence, at Casa Descatllar, with Dimitri Xato. A Catalan living art center that worked on cross-border projects and exhibitions. A project which ended in December 2023. A place which for four years brought contemporary art to life and welcomed artists from all over the world in residence. The opportunity for Christine Campadieu to turn to a writing project, which has always been with her. A book is born: The Wizard and the Firefly, on the road and at the table with Jim Harrison. A great writer with whom she shared travels for more than 10 years, while taking notes that documented this adventure. A book which has just received a very favorable review from the newspaper The Worldin the Saturday December 7 edition, from which these few lines are taken: “Christine Campadieu offers us a first original book, sensitive, intimate and endearing, from her notebooks blackened during their always greedy journeys.
