The year 2024 was “a big year” for Fougères musician Pierrot Soleil.

Final note: the publication of a book, Pierrot Soleil, roaming of a child of rock, written in collaboration with the novelist and friend Sandrine Périgois.

In fact, it was Sandrine who suggested it to me. I didn’t necessarily feel justified in publishing a book. The exercise may seem pretentious…

Sandrine Périgois took the rocker to the reel of his questionsfor a look back at the career of the singer and instrumentalist.

His beginnings? “At 14, in 1994, with a concert near my home, in Clermont-Ferrand. It was my first group.”

Followed a career with different training (The Street of Thirst), and solo.

Pierrot Soleil likes to describe himself as “Auvergne turned Breton”. He has lived in Fougères for ten years.

Brittany remains the El Dorado for musicians like me. The number of venues where you can play is incredible, including in medium-sized cities.

In the book, in addition to the story of a career and anecdotes (recordings, tours), we find numerous photos and many song lyrics.

A new album in March 2025

The release of the book is also an opportunity to the release of a recap CDsold with the book.

The year 2024 was rich in concerts.

Et 2025 ?

“It will be the year of a release, that of a new album. It will be in March and it will be called Primate. I was able to record it with a lot of guests, we will hear instruments that are new to me, like the cello,” announces Pierrot Soleil.
