Critically acclaimed, the comic strip Hey Djo! is now a Nugget of the Montreuil Children’s Book Fair. The festival, which is held in the Paris region, opened its doors on November 27. Following its opening, the winners of the different Nugget categories were revealed.
14 authors were in competition. The winners were chosen by a jury made up of young people aged 8 to 18.
Illustrated by Tournaisian Geoffrey Delinte and scripted by Marzena Sowa, this initiatory and intimate roadtrip, largely inspired by the designer’s personal memories, has not finished getting people talking since it is also selected for the Festival’s High School Prize Angoulême International Comics Festival (January 30 – February 2, 2025).
