Nicole Bruneau, vice-president of the CCQB in charge of culture, is happy to announce that with winter approaching, so does the time for Léo's Walks. Discover the programs hidden under the names of companies with readings, theater, stories, musical shows, poetry, writing workshops in local homes… “A beautiful cultural universe for all tastes, eyes and ears.”
The mayor of Milhac, Claude Vigier, talks about the atmosphere: “At the end of the year, the town will discover beautiful events, the Balades de Léo, which will offer free of charge to our fellow citizens, young and old, even beyond our village, a wonderful opportunity to meet us and listen to stories and theater in a friendly moment. Léo's Walks allow moments of exchange, conviviality and speech. It is a way of enlivening our small villages thanks to. cultural project supported by the community of municipalities, whom we thank. Thank you to the culture department for this beautiful program prepared by a dynamic team!”
Les Balades de Léo will delight you for three days in Milhac from December 13 to 15, with shows and stories for adults and children; everything is free.
Many of you are expected at the village hall from Friday December 13, your lucky day, at 7 p.m., to share the inauguration drink offered by the municipality. Next, at 7:45 p.m., let yourself be surprised by the burlesque fantasy of the Les Barbus company which will perform “Le Véto libraire” (all audiences aged 6 and over).
A little preview of the show: “Since libraries have been computerized, mysterious viruses have been circulating on the shelves and contaminating the books: words disappear, characters get lost, pages become stained and leather covers have skin diseases The extent of the contamination is such that the quarantine instructions are relentless: all the books must be cut down and burned to eradicate the disease… Unless you call on the only specialist capable of treating the terrible disease: the. VÉTOLIBRAIRE, romantic character, half-storyteller, half-doctor who knows how to care for these fantastic animals that are books while telling stories, especially that of Donkey Skin which serves as a common thread for his imagination…”.
Les Balades de Léo, supported by the Drac and carried by the CCQB library network, a traveling cultural project since 2022, will accompany you for three days of joy and poetry. We will talk about the rest of the program in another edition.
