His creations, whether literary or artisanal, carry meaning, kindness and an invitation to personal development and transformation. Why this book in the first place? Éleste Bottiau says: I have long lent my pen to others to defend causes that were close to my heart. Today, I speak directly to those who seek to flourish by listening to their hearts, to overcome their trials and to cultivate their own inner kingdom.

For more than twenty years, Éleste Bottiau was an editor for NGOs. She has mobilized for major humanitarian causes, writing stories that awaken empathy and mobilize consciences. This book also draws lessons from another aspect of his life. At 19, I ran away from my parents, it was the final act of rebellion against the life that had destroyed me. Sleeping on the street was the most impactful experience: the one that taught me that my destiny belonged only to me. I escaped seemingly unscathed but inside I was changed forever.

This 220-page book, softly and sincerely written, enriched with poetic illustrations, invites everyone to reconnect with their essence and cultivate friendship with themselves. By addressing themes of resilience, the book also provides tools to bounce back.

Through her Leather & Emotions Workshop in Carquefou, Éleste Bottiau celebrates the power of creation: just as leather is shaped, everyone has the power to shape the material of their own existence.

Very imaginative, she has also designed a range of unique stationery, gilded by hand in her workshop. These inspirational cards are framed, to display in your home as a gentle reminder or to send to loved ones, to convey precious messages, like these “Become who you really want to be”“Go higher, to see the world better”, “Don’t be afraid to dare, you are most likely to succeed. »

Thursday 28, Friday November 29 and Saturday November 30from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 10, avenue du Bernier. FREE ENTRANCE. This meeting will be an opportunity to have your copy signed, to discuss and discover its leather goods creations and its range of stationery.
