Ten novels selected for the 4th Trouville-Pavillon Augustine book prize

After an interruption due to Covid, Stéphane Héaume and Arnaud Pelhate relaunched the Trouville literary prize – Pavillon Augustine, in Trouville ().

A work of fiction in French

“This prize recognizes a work of fiction in the French language which places great emphasis on the imagination with the presence of the sea and/or port or coastal towns. This prize comes with a check for €5,000. After a first selection in November of ten works, a second selection of three will be communicated at the beginning of February. Finally, the jury will meet at the beginning of April for the final choice” explains Stéphane Héaume, co-founder.

Strong ties with Trouville

Stéphane Héaume, novelist and Arnaud Pelhate, owner of Brasserie Augustine, are co-founders of the prize. Pierre Bergé is the honorary president. The jury made up of around ten novelists is chaired by Anne Heilbronn, vice-president of Sotheby's, responsible for the books and manuscripts branch. Many of the members of the jury have a very strong connection with Trouville. Édouard Jousselin and Christine Montalbetti, novelists, joined the jury this year.
