Low attendance at the Book Fair

Corbigny. Low attendance at the Book Fair. Thirty-five authors were present on Sunday at the abbey for the third edition of the Book Fair, organized by Laurent Briand, with the support of the Envie d’Abbaye association. All the participants appreciated the welcome that Christelle and Laurent Briand gave them and many Books were signed.

Interviews were carried out by radio host Thierry Chesneau and will soon be broadcast on his show Instant Culture on RCF Nièvre. A single regret in the form of an observation regarding the low attendance on Sunday afternoon: “It is becoming more and more difficult to make people want to leave their homes.” A remark that many event organizing associations are currently making. Despite significant communication and free events, there was ultimately little audience.

The organizers and Envie d’Abbaye are meeting in 2025 for the 4 ^e edition of the Book Fair.
