Châtillon-en-Bazois. 23-11 Exposale of Books for young people. For more than twenty years, the Baz'arts association has organized an exhibition and sale of books for young people. More than three hundred new books are on sale in the project room. For this year, it will be Saturday November 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event has three objectives: to expose the richness and variety of publishing for young people, to offer the population a choice of books for Christmas gifts and with the profit from the sale, to buy new and recent books for the sector youth of the local media library.
A book as a Christmas present
The Baz'arts team notes with pleasure that for several years, several municipalities of Bazois as well as associations, in order to encourage reading and access to culture, have chosen, for Christmas, to give books to children. This choice is all the more judicious as for the amount planned for a toy, you can choose a very beautiful book, a gift very appreciated by adults and children alike.
For this action, Baz'arts is calling on the municipalities of Bazois so that they can contribute to the development of reading for young people, while helping to enrich the region's media library, to which they participate financially. The choice of books can be made at the time of the exhibition. We can also place orders which will be delivered within the week following the exhibition-sale.
Régine Sicard will offer an artistic animation, in two stages, throughout the exhibition, to complete the cultural visit and fill children with the joy of playing with words and colors. From 6 years old from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
