Gilles Magréau has written his tenth book and will be signing this Friday at the La Poterne bookstore in Bourges.
The former manager of the Mac-Nab theater in Vierzon publishes Hello Monsieur Marc… about a certain Larchevêque whose career as an entrepreneur in ceramics left an impression in Vierzon. “His person and his journey are astonishing. He first buys his father's debts and takes them for ten years, but in the end, the company will double in size. Marc Larchevêque was a paternalistic boss. It was necessary to tell his story and I based myself on the knowledge of Alain Leclerc, municipal archivist of Vierzon. »
With André Perrot, former Berry journalist
Gilles Magréau portrayed a former journalist from Berry Republican, who rose from correspondent status to head of the Vierzon agency. “I also wanted to put dialogues between the two characters because, initially, I had the idea of a play. These dialogues are invented but plausible. » Prefaced by Marc's grandson, Éric Larchevêque, this book is volume 1 subtitled Chronicles of the 20th century in the Vierzon region. Volume 2 will bear the title La Dactylo soprano. “Jeanne Fiette was Marc Larchevêque’s last accounting secretary and she sang operettas…”
