A hundred authors at the Salon du Livre du Touquet for 3 days in a… Christmas atmosphere!

8,000 visitors are expected from Friday to Sunday at the Salle des 4 Saisons in Le Touquet for the 44th edition of the book fair. The guest of honor this year is Annie Degroote, author from . 6 literary prizes will be awarded including a British Polar Prize. A children's center has been created for the youngest.

Daniel Fasquelle, the mayor of Le Touquet, wanted this 44th edition to immerse authors and readers in a magical festive atmosphere:

The salon opens its doors Friday at 9 a.m. More than 1,500 students from Berck, Etaples, Hesdin, sur mer will meet authors.

All weekend, the youngest will have their own dedicated space in the children's house. Liliane Lussignol, vice president of Touquet tourism in charge of culture:

Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
