Local literature places its books at the Luxembourg media library in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne). Writers from the region met there, Saturday November 16, 2024, to the third edition of the local authors' book fair, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Several workshops will also be offered as well as readingsnot to mention the presence of the authors who will be signing all afternoon.
For this third edition, several local names of literature will be present at the Luxembourg media library. “Céline Aubry, Philippe Baye, Alexandre & Mary Bereczki, Damien Blanchard, Christine Bretonnier, Pierre-Yves Cézard, Daniel Clément, Thierry Dupin, Enzo Izquierdo, Vincent Majewski, Fino, Audrey Sebti, Daniel Trouble and Pascal Pioppi”, lists -on to the Pays de Meaux.
Animations
Visitors will be able to have access to entertainment. However, the media library indicates that it is “advisable” to reserve.
From 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on the 1st floor Salle Bulle, illustrator Pierre-Yves Cézard will try to familiarize you with illustration techniques.
“From 5 years old, children and parents will be guided step-by-step to draw animals. Parrots, dogs and lions, heroes of his comic strips, will be featured to color the one-hour workshop,” we explain.
Finally for the teenagers and adultsthe “Sports in Meaux” event will take place in the presence of Philippe Baye, Thierry Dupin and Pascal Pioppi from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., on the 1st floor Salle Bulle.
“Led by Pascal Pioppi, this meeting on the theme of sport will look back on the key experiences of Philippe Baye, disabled basketball player, Thierry Dupin, one of the first French professional skateboarders and Pascal Pioppi, former sports journalist. Emblematic figures of the sporting world, the three authors will discuss with you their role within the Pays de Meaux”, concludes the Pays de Meaux conurbation.
