Composer and author, Maryvonne Hellec has just published, Monday November 4, 2024his third collection of poems entitled The power to be reborn. His universe is inspired by his life experiences, while addressing the themes of mourning, separation, forgiveness, and even nature. Meeting with this Breton poet who lives in Chateaubriant (-Atlantique) for five years.

“It is by sharing that we move forward and help others”

As a sequel to his first two collections entitled Gardens to share et New flight to sharein this new opus entitled The power to be rebornlungs Monday November 4, 2024the author Maryvonne Hellec testifies to her personal story through her poetry:

I express my life path, it's a bit of personal development, sometimes on serious subjects, such as the themes of mourning, betrayals, separations and things in life that everyone experiences. It is by sharing that we move forward and help others to move forward.

Another theme she exploresnature: “I was born in North Africa and am very good friends with the artist Affif Cherfaoui . I put one of his paintings into a poem in the chapter entitled “Those who protect us”. Nature releases energies that protect us and as he painted fauns, which are spirits of nature, in female form, I wrote a text entitled “Les faunesses”” explains the author.

Signing sessions

Published in self-publishing, this new illustrated collection of photographs costs 16 eurosand was printed in 100 copies, by the printing house The contemporarylocated near .

It will be possible to meet Maryvonne Hellec at the next book fair from Châteaubriant, Saturday 16et Sunday November 17, 2024 an event in which she participates every year.

She will also be, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday November 30 au Super U of Janzéand at the same times, Saturday December 7au Super U of Guerche-de-Bretagne.

After living for 17 years in the Finistèrethen to Nantes she lives in Chateaubriantfor five years:

»I really like it there, I already sang here in 2010 at the Théâtre de Verre, but also in churches and then I got to know the region that I love, when I arrived in Nantes. The first castle I visited was Châteaubriant, which I found magnificent,” she recalls.
