The 3 journalists authors of the book “Hit Killers” in the crosshairs of justice, but also of organized crime

“Hit Killers”, the 250-page book devoted to “shooters”, these young hitmen recruited by drug traffickers, never ceases to give a cold sweat to these three authors who would now be in the crosshairs of criminals currently incarcerated.

On October 21, around ten days after the publication of this dive into the ultraviolent world of drug trafficking which had caused a stir in the legal world, the prosecutor's office announced that it had opened an investigation and referred the matter to the IGPN (the “police of police”, editor’s note).

Magistrates were indeed surprised to discover “entire PV” in the pages of the in-depth investigation carried out by our colleagues from Le Parisien, Jean-Michel Decugis, Jérémie Pham-Lê and Vincent Gautronneau. Then, a series of articles published by the three journalists following the publication of work and revealing in particular part of the identities and photos of three men suspected of being at the head of the DZ Mafia, had led to the fact that several protagonists of the “Mateo” affair (one of the first hitmen all just out of adolescence, recruited by the DZ Mafia) file a complaint.
