This is an initiative that should please parents who are sad to see their children’s rooms filled with games and wardrobes cluttered with clothes. The youth commission is organizing for the second time an “Empty your room” which will be held on Sunday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Georges-Dumont multipurpose room in Lux. As the Christmas holidays approach, it’s also a good opportunity to get some good deals. For the young people involved in this event (a group of 15 teenagers aged 10 to 14), this event marks the start of actions intended to finance a summer stay. Various sales of products (Christmas hyacinths, cheeses, biscuits, brioches) and other events (book fair, parent/child pétanque competition) will be organized throughout the school year. The results will be decisive for the realization of this project.
