It was night and day compared to last year. It must be said that the 2023 edition took place in lousy weather. Saturday November 2, the first day of the Château-Thierry autumn fair was a great success.
The sale of traders on Rue Carnot and Place du Maréchal Leclerc, the exhibition of members of the Photo-Club Arc en Ciel in the town hall, the fair
in the books of the Castel Amnesty International Group Rue du Château, the relocated funfair Place Jean Moulin: There were people everywhere! And not just a little.
A dense crowd, to put it mildly, was wandering in front of the flea market stalls.
At the entrance to the Salon de la Légion d’Honneur, the president of the Photo-Club Arc en Ciel, René Plateaux, counted one hundred and thirty visitors at 3:25 p.m.
Maurizio Conti, head of the Castel Amnesty International Group, displayed a broad smile in the premises at 8 Rue du Château. During
on this first day, many visitors came to discover thousands of second-hand books, carefully classified by theme
by volunteers.
Now located at Place Jean Moulin, the fairground rides created a strong sensation among a large audience.
Sunday November 3, the traders’ flea market, Rue Carnot, Place du Maréchal Leclerc, Grande Rue, Place du Beau Richard and in front
the MAFA, should in turn experience success with a sun having also wanted to be there.
The photo exhibition and the book fair are still to be discovered this Sunday. Open until November 11, the funfair welcomes young and old this November 3, from 2 p.m. to midnight, then from Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and from Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight.
