In Haute-Garonne, this Sunday, November 3, 2024, this village of Lauragais will host the ninth edition of its annual literary event. This is the Book fair from Corronsac, south-east of .

Always organized by the Corronsac association Bien vivre ensemble and coordinated by its kingpin, Cécile Caroit will open its doors in the town's multipurpose room from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Around forty authors

Relying essentially on local “resources”, this cultural and family event offers the opportunity to meet a forty authors (for adults or young people) who live in Lauragais, Toulouse, or in nearby towns.

Among them: Cécile Calland, Audrey Marty, Patrice Teisseire-Dufour, Claudine Candat or the illustrators Fred Medrano, Marine Savelli or Clapped.

The opportunity to discover their latest writings, to obtain a dedication and, why not, prepare your own original and personalized Christmas gifts.

A second-hand book sale…

In addition to these privileged meetings with the authors, the team will also offer throughout the afternoon various activitiesincluding a workshop for creating illuminated bookmarks or a writing workshop, led by Hélène Sanchez-Bassié.

Are also planned author interviewshosted by Sophie Michon, and a conference by Stéphane Amiot on creating a children's album and working with an illustrator.

The Les Coteaux association alongside Élodie will host a used book sale for the benefit of the Telethon, and the Lecteur du Val will provide information on its new short story and postal art competitions.

Youth activities and tea room

Younger readers will not be forgotten with kamishibai sessions (small Japanese theater) as well as other activities led by volunteers from the Autour de l'École association.

And of course, to accompany it all, a tea roomwith homemade treats and hot and cold drinks, will be available to visitors throughout the afternoon.
