After our tourist guide dedicated to Tokyo published at the end of 2023, we could not continue our “Travel to Japan” collection without devoting a whole book in Kyoto ! It is now done: we are officially announcing the release of volume 5 called Kyoto: guide to the cultural capital of Japan.
Imperial capital for 1,000 yearsKyoto is indeed an essential destination for a stay in Japan but difficult to approach due to the abundance of sites, as there are so many things to discover. We tried to distinguish characteristic, historical and cultural elements of the ancient city to enable conscious visitswhere we understand what we see to better appreciate it.
