Book Day before other events

Fursac. Friendly and warm Book Day. The Fursac Book Club organized its 23rd this year e Book day. The participants took over the village hall from the morning on impressive rows of tables of authors and publishers, to meet their readers.

The mayor, Olivier Mouveroux, spoke at the inaugural moment, at midday, alongside the president of the association Brigitte Dudrut. Storyteller Murielle Richer welcomed ears over 9 years old in the afternoon to tell them about The Magic Supper at Louise’s.

Organized with the partnerships of the Félix-Chevrier school, the Pôle Ados, the Creuse Ouvert association, and the support of the municipality, the Departmental Council, and the Departmental Library, this Book Day brought together around thirty authors, three publishing houses and two bookstores, L’Apothicaire de La Souterraine, in an on-site sales area, and Vies minuscules de Guéret for other book supplies.

The Fursac Book Club invites comic book author and illustrator Eric Albert during the All Saints’ Day holidays, who will speak at the Fursac Teen Center. Other actions are to come, including the arrival of authors at the Felix-Chevrier school in Fursac.
